About Me

I am a retired anesthesiologist with over 50,000 hours in the operating room. An avid pilot, I earned my private pilot license in 1989, followed by ratings in instrument, seaplane, commercial, and multi-engine flying. In 1999, I became an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) to combine my medical expertise with my passion for aviation. With 25 years of experience as an AME, my goal is to help pilots stay in the air safely.

I have logged nearly 2,500 flight hours and co-own a Mooney Bravo. Additionally, I built a Van’s RV-12, which I enjoy flying regularly. I volunteer as an EAA medical advisor and as a pilot with the New Hampshire Civil Air Patrol. As a member of EAA Chapter 1516, I take pride in conducting Young Eagle flights, inspiring the next generation of aviators.
